  1. Pre-heat oven to 325ºF and line a 9″x13″ pan with foil.
  2. Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and mix well. Beat eggs separately and then mix well with the wet ingredients.
  3. Prepare the dry ingredients. Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder, and salt. Toss in walnuts and dates and toss until well coated.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  5. Pour ingredients into the lined pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let it cool completely before cutting.
